Resort for Pets began in 2007 with a simple idea: to provide pets with a safe, comfortable, and high-quality boarding experience. Founded by a veterinarian who saw the need for premium pet accommodations in a clinic environment, our mission has always been to deliver exceptional care and peace of mind to pet owners.

Bandy took over as manager in 2009; her background in zoology, animal behavior, and enrichment inspired a transformation. Her vision extended beyond traditional vet clinic boarding—a place where pets could thrive, play, and feel at home. By 2011, Bandy and Dr. Louisa Martin expanded the offerings to include small pets like bunnies & guinea pigs, reflecting their shared roots in the zoo field and their passion for all creatures.

In 2017, we opened a location in Haslet, to better serve our growing community. Over the years, our focus has remained steadfast: treat every pet like family while providing their owners with complete confidence in our care. From enriching activities and personalized care to our clean, modern facilities, we strive to make every pet’s stay special.
